I’m not one to criticize anyone who is grieving or has lost someone in a tragedy. But, watching the 9/11 remembrances on the news and listening to the families read off their lost loved one’s names and then immediately praising J.D. Vance as _strong_and trustworthy makes me question if they’re not politicizing the moment in the worst possible way.

Two families called upon Trump to expose Saudi Arabia as the ones who planned and enacted the 9/11 attacks, who then went on to _praise_Trump. Praise the man who is currently botching a war with Iran, bribing the American people for their vote, and has been convicted of 34 felonies for something he didn’t do.

I think they’re justified in calling out Saudi Arabia. The BBC published a story 4 days ago showing videos linking a man with ties to the Saudi government to the terrorist attacks on 9/11:

The lawsuit argues Saudi Arabia was complicit in the attacks and that Bayoumi aided two of the 19 hijackers who flew planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, with another crashing in Pennsylvania.

Ok, let’s mourn this day. Let’s call attention to the Saudis who orchestrated the attacks and have yet to be punished.

But don’t gush over the Vice President and the President, especially considering all the illegal stuff they’re up to.
